Tours should kick off about the Grand Bazaar and Zafer Plaza, at which visitors can explore one of the city items of trade: silk. From here you may visit the gorgeous 14th century Ulu Cami, or Grand Mosque (a great example of early Ottoman architecture), the beautifully tiled Yesil Türbe (Green Tomb of Mehmed I) along with Hisar- that the citadel entry and final remaining part of the Old City Wall. A bit away from the city center, visitors can locate Inkaya- a 600-year-old sycamore tree planted by the Ottomans… a great place to go to in the morning to get a few coffee/tea & breakfast!  Many  sites are within walking distance from the historical city center, so don’t skip a beat when you’re seeing this beautiful Turkish town!
